As Director of Volunteer Services, she is responsible for managing the individual volunteer program, community service and service learning programs, representing the agency at community health fairs and special events, coordinating third party events and donations drives, and conducting community presentations, facility tours. Melissa is the President of SAVA (San Antonio Volunteer Administrators) for 2008-2010 and a member of the American Humanics Advisory Council of UTSA.
