Ways to Give

Thank you for wanting to make a difference in the lives of troubled families. Your tax-deductible gift provides for life-saving services and helps families begin new lives free of domestic violence. Did you know your gift can be used to help children in shelter? Single mothers receive education and job training for self-sufficiency? Childcare and items for infants? Your gift can also be used to transport mothers and children from harm's way to safe shelter staffed by caring advocates. Or counseling therapy for children, teens and every member of the family? Every gift you give makes a difference in lives of families who are in crisis or in the process of rebuilding their lives. YOU make these services possible.

With the support of this community, we continue to assist more families than ever before. You may designate your gift for a specific program, or allow us to apply the funds to areas of greatest need. Either way, your gift keeps services strong and brings new hope to thousands of mothers and children who otherwise would not be helped.

Organize or support benefit events

Make FVPS and the Battered Women and Children's Shelter the beneficiary of your organization's next fund raising project. Go to Benefit Events in the News/Events section of this website for guidelines and event application form.  Events conducted solely by volunteer groups in the San Antonio area are a major source of funds that help us serve more women, children and families.  Your group can make a difference this year, and you'll be raising awareness about domestic violence and FVPS as a source of help.   Thank you everyone who helps organize an event!
